NEFRSA Scholarship Program
The NEFRSA Scholarship Program, provided by the North East Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association (NEFRSA), is dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of students within the roofing and sheet metal industry and their families. This scholarship aims to assist deserving individuals in furthering their academic pursuits and developing the skills necessary to succeed in their chosen fields.
Qualifying Criteria
Must have one of the following relationships with a NEFRSA Member
1. Son/Daughter
2. Grandchild
3. Niece/Nephew
4. NEFRSA Member is the legal guardian of the applicant
5. NEFRSA Member must live in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, or St. Johns County
Application Instructions
1. Complete and sign the application
2. Include one reference letter completed by your high school guidance counselor, an instructor or college faculty; whichever is applicable. Other letters of recommendation will be considered.
3. Include the official high school or most recent college transcript. These documents will not be returned.
4. Mail the application, letters of recommendation and transcripts to:
NEFRSA, P.O. Box 10124, Jacksonville, FL, 32247
5. Only totally completed applications will be considered.
6. Please print using black or blue ink.
Scholarship Programs
In the past two years alone, over $25,000 has been awarded including donations to the FRSA’s scholarship fund for 2024. Money for these scholarships comes from your generous donations and participation in events such as this annual golf tournament and the first annual clay shoot, held back in May. At this year’s awards dinner six well deserving recipients were presented with scholarship funds to assist in their continued higher education and goals.
In 2025 we are looking to expand our giving as we have each year since this program’s inception. Qualifying criteria and instructions are listed in this document.
